Andrés Pacheco-Girón
Recently graduated from the inaugural cohort of the Master of Arts in Podcasting and Audio Reportage at NYU’s Journalism School. His work has been featured on WNYC, Feet in 2 Worlds, palabra by NAHJ and Ballotpedia’s On The Ballot. Before moving to the United States from Colombia, he worked as a multimedia journalist in major newsrooms like Caracol Radio and La Silla Vacía, as well as independent outlets such as Mutante and Cuestión Pública.
Andrés has reported on a wide range of topics, including immigration, climate change solutions, politics, social justice, organized crime, music, arts, and science. He is passionate about stories where personal experiences intersect with complex, broader issues—particularly those about difficult choices, his favorite kind to tell.
